A Tarot Spread is an important part of a tarot reading. The Spread has certain attributes: Number of Cards, Geometry of how they are laid out, an overall meaning or focus and positional meanings.
Many people rely on the celtic cross. But a small spread (1-5) can be very useful for answering specific questions and for giving a concise reading.
