Portland Tarot Study Group

Dear Friends of the Portland Tarot Study Group:

We will be continuing our monthly study of the topic of Pathworking on the Tree of Life at our March meeting. This study allows us to gain new insights into the cards of the Major Arcana. So far we have worked with The World, Judgement, The Sun, The Star, The Moon, The Tower and Temperance. It has been an interesting field of study for us so far with some interesting new takes on the cards, their relationships with each other, and possible extras that they can bring if they show up in a reading.

At this meeting, on Sunday, March7 at 3:00 pm we will be working with the paths of the cards of The Devil and Death

We will continue to explore what the practice of Pathworking means for study of the cards and enhancing your readings. We will also be looking at one of the historical traditions for pathworking using the Tree of Life and have some exercises for meditating on the cards.

A good reference for the work with the Major Arcana is the book “The Qabalistic Tarot” by Robert Wang. This book is worth getting as a general reference for study.

As a reminder, we are meeting at Fuego, 1410 SW Columbia St. in Portland.

All are welcome regardless of your experience level with Tarot, so we hope you will join us.
